Among the many Malla period wooden statues that one may come across, this is a particularly special one as it depicts a peaceful female deity with four arms, probably white Tara.  The attributes are missing from her top hands, one may have been the stem of a lotus. Her hair is gathered into a tall chignon topped with a jewel. All she wears is a pair of circular earrings.
