Achala, with one head and three eyes, holds a sword (broken here) in the right hand and a lasso in the other. He is standing over an elephant-headed figure, (Ganesha/Ganapati/Vignayaraja), adorned with a tiger skin loin cloth, a garland of freshly severed heads, a crown, some snakes in the guise of jewellery and sacred cord, his face painted with cold gold.
