Tibet, Ratnasambhava – bodhisattva appearance

This  buddha wears a tall crown made of five thin panels with a foliate design, joined  together with two thin bands of metal curved at the front. It is held with ribbons and decorated with side rosettes. He wears simple  beaded necklaces, bracelets and anklets, large hoops on his ears, and some armbands with a foliate design matching the large pendant on his chest. His facial features are typically Tibetan. His ankle-length transparent dhoti is decorated with a beaded hem, the folds of his garment are arranged in front of him. Ratnasambhava holds a jewel in his right hand.
