The folds of the buddha’s neck, the triangular shape of the hem over his left shoulder, the barely perceptible folds of the robe, the cuffs at the ankles, the hair style and the very wide eyes with long thin eyebrows, the folds at the mouth, are all typical elements which help determine that the sculptures are from 8th century Kashmir or thereabout.
